Hi, I'm Cassidi Dye!
I'm a Licensed Master Level Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor based in the Kansas City area and the founder of Cardinal Psychological Services. I provide therapy and psychological evaluations, with additional specialization in behavioral health services for first responders, their families, and public safety agencies.
Therapy
I provide individual therapy for adults and older teens navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, burnout, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other challenges that can start to feel difficult to manage alone.
My approach is practical, individualized, and evidence-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), trauma-informed care, and education about the nervous system. I want clients to better understand what's happening, why certain patterns keep showing up, and what they can actually do with that information outside of therapy.
Psychological Evaluations
I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults seeking clarity around ADHD, autism, learning disorders, mood and personality concerns, and other diagnostic questions.
My goal is for an evaluation to provide more than a diagnosis. I want clients and families to leave with a better understanding of their strengths and challenges, along with practical recommendations they can use at home, school, work, or in treatment.
First Responders & Agencies
Working with first responders has become an important part of my practice. I understand that the demands and culture of public safety can affect stress, relationships, sleep, identity, and life outside of work in ways that aren't always easy to explain to someone outside of the profession.
I continue learning directly from the field through regular law enforcement ride-alongs and my work with first responders. In addition to individual therapy, I provide behavioral health education, wellness services, and department consultation designed to support both first responders and the agencies they serve.
Outside the Office
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking, and spending time with family. You'll usually find me planning my next trip or searching for good food and beautiful views.
Whether you're looking for therapy, answers through a psychological evaluation, or specialized support for your department, my goal is to provide care that is personalized, practical, and genuinely useful.
